The twisted story
Of a young girls' life
Ended with
A glistening knife
Nobody cared
They'd always say
She's better off dead
No one likes her anyway
The teachers never cared
That she was behind
A poor, pale body
Was all they would find
Her mother didn't want her
So she'd beat her up
Daddy could care less
He didn't give a fuck
The boy she loved
Ignored her so
All the time that
Her pain would grow
Hoping he'd notice
And help her through
Help her start
Her life again, new
But he had his girl
And so she let go
Everyone thought
It was just a show
She wanted attention
They had all said
So she ran home
And cried on her bed
She shouted the story
Of her life
Then she went to the kitchen
And took out her shining knife
She scribbled a quick note
And held it in her fist
She wrote something for everyone
She made a quick list
Then she pressed the blade
Lightly to her wrist
Nodded to her self
And let limp her fist
Her mom walked
Through the door
Saw her dead
Corpse on the floor
Her dad came too
And saw her dead
They found the note
And this is what it read
"Mommy, daddy
I love you
Even though you beat me
Believe it's true
Dani, I hoped
That we could be
But I guess you couldn't
See the pain in me
And for all you kids
Who have teased me
You're forgiven
But stop it please
People will end
Up like me
And we don't want that

I hope God forgives me

And took the note to the school

And how harmful it can be
Dani began to cry
